He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Edith ∽ee (Robertson) son Bill (Shay) Scaife, Port Williams, NS daughter JJ (Chris) Walsh, New Minas, NS brother Eric (Maddie) Scaife, Allumette Island, PQ sister Dee (Dana) Rector, Penhold, AB brother-in-law Gordon Reid, Eastern Passage, NS brother-in-law Ken (Marg) Robertson, Fort Saskatchewan, AB best friends Larry and Christine Cuschieri, Angus, ON also grandchildren Jenna and Michael Scaife, Sudbury, ON Stuart Walsh, New Minas, NS step grandson Zach Rafuse, Port Williams, NS, and several nieces and nephews. In his retirement he enjoyed many trips to the Caribbean with good friends and family as well as crosswords and Sudoku. Fred retired from the RCAF after 25 years of service. This expertise contributes to a meaningful funeral service that gives mourners a chance to say their last farewells. Born on September 4, 1941, he was a son of the late Bill and Jennie (Otter) Scaife.
